Shakugan no Shana 3rd Season Confirmed!!!

Shakugan no Shana

According to Dengeki Bunko's July issue, third series of anime produced by J.C.Staff, Shakugan no Shana, is to be made, though exact date has not been revealed yet.

Those who read Shakugan no Shana light novels, and also some others, know that anime didn't really stick to the original and the second season plunged into some low-grade, "dramatic", love triangle "comedy". Even so, there are many fans who have not forsaken Shakugan no Shana anime version, including me, and hope to see some interesting development and more Flame Haze x Bal Masque battles in a continuation. And I'd like to see the relationship of Shana and Yuuji to progress too.

Having said this, it's not 100% sure that the new announced project really will be a new season, because there emerge some rumors suggesting that it will be just a remake. However, I think it's just that people are more sceptic after all the commotion about Haruhi, and the third season is likely to be made.

At any rate, fans of Flame-Haired Red-Eyed Hunter have something to look forward to now.

What happen when movie making goes wrong

This is a bad movie

Dragonball: Evolution

Last December I predicted that Dragonball: Evolution would gross a $15 million opening weekend on its way to a $50 million American box office total. I was way off. The film opened domestically with a mere 4.6 million first weekend, and it’s so far earned just over $25 million throughout the rest of the world during its first month of release. At least I wasn’t the only one to overestimate the film’s potential appeal, as ICv2 reports that the movie’s opening was “below many analysts’ expectations.”

I like Dragon Ball, and I’ve watched countless bad movies, but even I’m skipping this one, at least for now.

What is anime

Anime (アニメ?, an abbreviated pronunciation in Japanese of "animation", pronouned [anime] ( listen) in Japanese, but typically /ˈænɪmeɪ/ or /ˈænɪmə/ in English) is animation originating in Japan. The rest of the world regard anime to be "Japanese animation".[1] Anime originated about 1917.[2][dead link]

Anime, like manga (Japanese comics), is extremely popular in Japan and well known throughout the world. Distributors can release anime via television broadcasts, directly to video, or theatrically, as well as online.

Both hand-drawn and computer animated anime exist. It is used in television series, films, video, video games, commercials, and internet-based releases, and represents most, if not all, genres of fiction.
